Sacramento Real Estate

Dave would probably still be at the firm in Milpitas had he not been introduced to and fell in love with his current wife and business partner, Michelle Dinh. Dave tried unsuccessfully to convince Michelle she wanted to live in San Jose and so in preparation for the completion of his obligations in the San Jose area in June 1996 Dave and Michelle joined RE/MAX Central in August 1995.

Dave remains active in organized real estate, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (SAR), the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and Metrolist, Inc., the large regional multiple listing service covering the Sacramento and Central Valley areas.  His other duties in recent years have included serving on the NAR Professional Standards Committee since 2001, serving on the CAR Professional Standards Committee since 1989 where he served as Chair in 2001, chair of the SAR Professional Standards Committee from 1998-2001, vice-chair of the CAR Legal Affairs Forum in 2002 and he has been selected to be the vice-chair of the CAR Multiple Listing Policy Committee for 2003.

He has also chaired and vice-chaired many other committees at the state and local level.  Dave is also a frequent speaker and instructor at real estate associations throughout the region.

His current association with RE/MAX Central has allowed Dave to return to the vocation he wanted to pursue so long ago, teacher.  Over the years his love of teaching has remained strong and has rubbed of on his family.  His daughter Vara has served as a kindergarten teacher for almost fifteen years.  Now it is Dave’s turn to focus on teaching.

He will tell you that outside of his family he is most proud of the people he has been able to personally train to reach their top levels of performance.  He will also tell you that he is enjoying the most satisfying period of his career, the opportunity to pass on the knowledge that he has gained to the next generation.  And he is always looking for the next student that wants to let him help them be the best they can be.

When counseling family members or others about choosing a career Dave’s advice is constant, find something you love doing and do it well.  Dave is following his own advice.
